Noticeboard

 Hello, we hope all our patients are keeping well in these difficult times.  Currently the Practice is open for telephone triage calls only but should the doctor wish to see you after speaking to you he will ask you to attend the Health Centre at a specific time and alone.   Please do not come late or early - there are no waiting facilities available and you will be asked to queue outside till a member of staff collects you.

Alternatively you may be asked to submit a photograph of rash or lump or tonsillitis either when making telephone appointment or whilst speaking to the doctor.    Video consultations are also starting.

Moira, our Senior Practice Nurse has started her Chronic Disease Management Reviews by telephone and the feedback is encouraging.  Please ensure the Practice has your up-to-date contact details

You may consult with any of the doctors or nurses available. To make an appointment either telephone the surgery on 01738 621726 or call into reception. You will be offered the earliest appointment available with the doctor or nurse of your choice.Please make separate appointments for each person who needs a consultation.   Only one condition can be discussed at any one appointment.

Please report to reception on arrival.

Appointments with doctors

Do you know - We have a range of appointments from same-day to bookable up to four weeks in advance.

Prebookable appointments are available up to 4 weeks in advance for early morning surgeries, late evening appointments and during day times as well.  These appointments allow patients to book with a GP f choice at a convenient time;

On the Day appointments are especially for patients with urgent problems who require to be seen 'on the day'.   When such patients contact the Practice with an acute/urgent problem they will be offered the next GP appointment on that day with the doctor who has availability;.

Patients who have a non-urgent problem and wish to see a GP of choice will be offered the next routine appointment with that GP.   There is no longer a necessity to phone at 8.00 am unless you consider your problem is urgent.

Drs Cavanagh has  an early morning surgery  from 07:00 to 08:00  and Dr Milne and Dr Perry have  late evening surgeries with the last appointment 6.15 pm.  Please enquire at reception if you would prefer an appointment at these times, but please note that chaperones are not available during these extended hours surgeries.
