Noticeboard

Hello, we hope all our patients are keeping well in these difficult times.  Currently the Practice is open for telephone triage calls only but should the doctor wish to see you after speaking to you he will ask you to attend the Health Centre at a specific time and alone.   Please do not come late or early - there are no waiting facilities available and you will be asked to queue outside till a member of staff collects you.

Alternatively you may be asked to submit a photograph of rash or lump or tonsillitis either when making telephone appointment or whilst speaking to the doctor.    Video consultations are also starting.

Moira, our Senior Practice Nurse has started her Chronic Disease Management Reviews by telephone and the feedback is encouraging.  Please ensure the Practice has your up-to-date contact details

Repeat Prescriptions

multicolour_pillsThe repeat prescription telephone number is 01738 446818. You may call this number and make your request or hand in your repeat prescription requests directly to a receptionist.

You can also email your request to rx.tayside@nhs.net. (Please include name, date of birth and telephone number).

Alternatively you can order online via the link at the top of this page. New users are required to complete a simple registration.

If you have signed a prescription collection mandate with a chemist, please let us know, and we will pass your repeat prescription to them when ready.

Please allow at least 48 hours as we require this time to process prescriptions. Special requests may take longer.

Drugs supplied are monitored by computer and from time to time it will be necessary to call you into the surgery to review your treatment.

Repeat prescription requests are dealt with Monday to Friday.

Many patients are now requesting medications which are not on current repeat prescriptions and these requests may take up to 5 days to process.  There will be no change to normal repeat medications which will be available after the usual 48 hours.    Additional requests for letters etc may also take up to 5 days.
